  • All our courses have been approved by the State Real Estate Commission and meet all state content requirements.
  • All our Instructors must have an active CDEI certification. This is the “Certified Distance Education Instructor” certification issued by ARELLO, the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials.
  • Our courses include a discussion forum where students are encouraged to interact with our instructors and each other to ensure an interactive experience.
  • Our instructor and technical help email response turnaround time is 24 hours.
  • All our proctored final exams are conducted in terms of state-mandated examination requirements

Attendance and Progress

Students must complete 100% of the learning material presented in the course and demonstrate mastery of the material by passing all quizzes and the Final Exam to receive credit hours for the course. Students not completing 100% of the material will not be issued a Certificate of Completion and will not receive credit hours for the course.

Course Completion

Students have 90 days to complete the Stepping Stone course. If the student does not complete the course in time, they can purchase another 90 day extension and carry on with the course where they left off without having to start over again from the beginning.

Previous Credits

Credits earned from another institution cannot be combined with those earned through Stepping Stone Real Estate School. Stepping Stone does not guarantee the transferability of its credits to any other institution.

Post Course Completion

Once courses are completed, students must certify that they were the student/licensee who completed the coursework. Once certification has taken place, the student’s Certificate of Completion is sent to the customer via an automated email and is also stored in the student’s online account for a minimum of three years unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

Students may receive a full refund (minus processing fees) if they request a refund within 7 days of purchasing the course. Processing fees generally cost between 3-4% of the purchase price.

Technical System Requirements

Students are responsible for ensuring that technical system requirements are met. Stepping Stone Real Estate courses are delivered through a secure and proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) which is accessible online through common internet browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. An internet connection is required (high speed is recommended, but not required).

System Security

Stepping Stone Real Estate School takes standard precautions to ensure that its systems are secure and that they meet industry standards, including the application of firewalls for its Internet-based systems. All media, user data and student course records are backed up daily and stored on a dedicated external server. In the event of a black swan event where all contingencies fail, it is our policy to refund each student their money.

While Stepping Stone Real Estate School has put in every safeguard for the security of our system we cannot guarantee that student or other information is safe from an attack. Students also carry a security responsibility and are advised from outset to ensure their own laptop/desktop is secured, and to scan any and all downloaded materials received from the internet for viruses or related hazards.

Conduct Policy

All students are required to respect other students, faculty members, and employees of Stepping Stone Real Estate School. Possession of weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, or alcohol is strictly prohibited on any Stepping Stone Real Estate property.

Policy and Examination Protocol Violations

Violation of any Stepping Stone Real Estate policy or mandated examination conduct protocols may result in permanent dismissal from the school. After review of all pertinent facts and information, The Director of Stepping Stone Real Estate School will make the final determination regarding dismissal and/or re-admittance.
